This baseline service is suited to all your Internet servers that provide general content to your customers or target audience. Each month over the course of a year a vulnerability scan of your server is performed which examines both the network and application's configuration and produces a report of the findings. Examination of network vulnerabilities is more basic than our Professional service but still covers the fundamentals - all 'reserved' ports are examined together with popularly Trojanised ports (e.g. backorifice etc). All results are sent encrypted to nominated contacts within your organisation.
The service features:-
- TCP scan of 'reserved' (1- 1023) and popularly Trojanised ports.
- UDP scan of well defined UDP services, such as tftp, snmp, etc. and popularly Trojanised ports.
- Application layer scan of web server.
- Scans continually updated to accommodate the latest vulnerabilities.
- Scans occur monthly.
- Encrypted reports dispatched monthly.
- Scan occur at a time specified by you, e.g. during 'quiet' periods.
