In order
to ensure unauthorised devices are not appearing on your subnet we will
attempt to contact every IP address within that subnet (up to a maximum
of 255 devices) on a range of TCP and UDP ports, typically including ICMP
echo request, TCP echo (7/tcp), UDP echo (7/udp), HTTP (80/tcp), HTTPS (443/tcp),
Netbios Session request (139/tcp), DNS (53/udp) and a range of ports on
which Worms and Trojans reside. Subnet discovery scans run each month over
the course of a year at a time specified by you. Monthly reports are sent
encrypted to nominated contacts within your organisation.
